Splash into Spring Break!

Thursday, March 15, 2018
With Spring comes longer days and warmer weather. Flowers begin to bloom again, and animals awaken from their hibernation, becoming active once again. Spring is one of our favorite seasons here on I-Drive, because longer days and warmer weather help to optimize what you can get done in a day on I-Drive, which you know is quite a lot! After all, AAA recently ranked Orlando #1 as the Spring Break capital of the world, and as Orlando’s Most Dynamic Destination, we have everything that you’ll need to make this spring break an unforgettable one!

Let the festivities commence!

Here on I-Drive there are two festivals going on during spring break 2018 that provide a fun experience for all attendees.

Universal Studios Mardi Gras with all of it’s outrageous street performers, colorful costumes, and abundant beads serves as non-stop entertainment during a parade that takes place every night! But the entertainment does not stop there, because after all, what is a party without great live music? On select nights you can catch performances from some of the biggest names in pop, rock, country, and R&B, like Fifth Harmony and Jessie J! Fuel up to keep the party going with mouthwatering Cajun food that stays true to the authentic New Orleans Margi Gras celebration!

SeaWorld’s Seven Seas Food Festival will also be in full swing during spring break on I-Drive this year. Spring break is all about indulging, and at this festival you’ll have the opportunity to take your taste buds on a trip around the world with multiple featured dishes that represent various markets of food across the globe. Choose from 70 beers and 50 different wines to find the perfect pairing while you enjoy live entertainment from well-known artists like Hunter Hayes on March 17th, Easton Corbin on March 19, the Eli Young Band on March 25th!

Heavy beach bags weighing you down?

Ditch the heavy beach bags and coolers and enjoy some fun in the Florida Sun at one of our I-Drive Resort Area water parks!

Whether your looking for extreme or serene, SeaWorld’s Aquatica has got it. At Aquatica you will capture that adrenaline rush you’ve been longing for on one of their high-speed water slides or riding the waves in an exhilarating wave pool. If its relaxation your looking for, get some serenity from lounging at one of the tranquil beaches. Voted the number one waterpark in Orlando by the Orlando Sentinel, Aquatica has got everything you need for a spectacular spring break.

“Water is life. Life is joy.” A philosophy celebrated at Universal’s Volcano Bay water theme park, encompassing the care free attitude of the fabled Waturi Islanders. This new water park provides the perfect mix of thrills and relaxation, featuring everything from aqua coasters to Pacific Island inspired beaches – spring break just won’t be complete without a day trip to this one of a kind water park!

Everything gets hotter when the sun goes down.
