Pittcon attracts nearly 20,000 attendees from industry, academia and government from 90 countries worldwide and is managed by a committee of volunteers and a 10-person staff. Proceeds from Pittcon fund science education and outreach at all levels, kindergarten through adult.
The Pittsburgh Conference donates nearly a million dollars each year in the form of science equipment grants, research grants, scholarships and internships for students, awards to teachers and professors, and grants to public science centers, libraries and museums.

For more than 80 years, volunteers and staff of the National Association of College Stores (NACS) have worked together to create and grow this premier industry event. Today CAMEX is the industry's largest trade show and educational event attracting attendees from more than 1,100 college stores and more than 700 exhibiting companies.
From apparel to pencils, candy to temporary tattoos, the CAMEX trade show features items in more than 90 product categories targeted to the college student consumer. A lot of business is conducted during the three-day show—more than 92% of CAMEX 2008 attendees took advantage of vendors' trade show specials.

Sponsored by the American Foundry Society (AFS) and the North American Die Casting Association (NADCA), CastExpo represents the single largest trade show and exposition in North America for metal casters. CastExpo’10 in Orlando, Florida will continue to be that, but also so much more.
