A Magical Dining Experience on International Drive

Friday, September 1, 2017
Magical Dining Month, sponsored by American Express, is one of the most eventful times in Orlando. Restaurants from International Drive and beyond work with Visit Orlando to offer a three course, prix fixe meal for $35. The meals, which require reservations, are delicious and give every foodie the opportunity to sample fine cuisine at a deliciously discounted price. Magical Dining is not only good for the wallet, but also good for the soul. One dollar from every meal benefits Freedom Ride & BASE Camp Children’s Foundation.

Here on International Drive, there are 25 restaurants bringing a vibrant culinary experience to Magical Dining Month.

Looking for a specific taste? Here’s what you can expect to find in our neighborhood.

American Cuisine
You can’t go wrong with a good, old fashioned, American dinner. For the traditional at heart, give Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurants, and The Grill (located in Marriot’s Grande Vista) a try during Magical Dining Month.

Finish your American contemporary cuisine with a slice of Key Lime Pie at The Grill.

Italian Cuisine

Start with the Calamari Saltati appetizer at Ciao Italia Ristorante’s. These calamari aren’t fried! Instead, they are sautéed in while wine lemon butter sauce. Delizioso!

Bon appetit! Italian lovers won’t be able to get enough exquisite pasta dishes on International Drive. Whether you dine at Cala Bella (located in Rosen Shingle Creek), Ciao Italia Ristorante, and Vincenzo Cucina Italiana you can’t go wrong!

Dinner isn’t complete without dessert! Whether you try the Tiramisu, Cioccolato Mousse, or Gelato Italiano your taste buds will be in heaven after your Vincenzo Cucina Italiana meal.

Japanese Cuisine & Sushi

Experience authentic Japanese dining in Orlando at Kobe Japanese Steakhouse where their chefs will dazzle you and your guests. Their Magical Trio is the perfect addition to Magical Dining Month!

You may have heard of Benihana, but have you visited our other authentic Japanese and Sushi restaurants? Your friends and family will be delighted for a night out at Kobe Ichiban Japanese Steakhouse, or Shogun Japanese Steak House (located in Rosen Inn closest to Universal Orlando). You’ll find sushi, hibachi, and excitement galore at each of these exciting restaurants!

The teppanyaki chefs at Shogun Japanese Steak House are magical in their own right. Watch as they manipulate heat and fire right in front of you to create a satisfying meal.

Latin Cuisine

Tantalize your taste buds with dinner from Cuba Libre Restaurant & Rum Bar, Mango’s Tropical Café, and Tapa Toro. Your mouth (and stomach) will dance in delight!

The toughest decision you’ll make during Magical Dining Month will be deciding which Cuba Libre’s Chef’s selection dessert to try!

Steak & Seafood

The seafood dishes at Everglades Restaurant are artistically designed to be pleasing to the eye and the palate.

There’s a reason surf and turf is so popular! For the eclectic dinner party, enjoy the option of steak or seafood (or both) at A Land Remembered (located in Rosen Shingle Creek), Del Frisco’s Double Eagle Steak House, Everglades Restaurant (located in Rosen Centre Hotel) , Fogo de Chao Brazilian Steakhouse, Jack’s Place (located in the Rosen Plaza Hotel), SeaWorld Orlando Sharks Underwater Grill (located in SeaWorld Orlando) , Spencer’s for Steaks and Chops (inside Hilton Orlando) , The Capital Grille, The Oceanaire Seafood Room, Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar, or Urban Tide (located in Hyatt Regency Orlando). Regardless of which of these restaurants you try, everyone will be delighted with their dining experience.

Have you ever wanted to dine “under the sea”? Magical Dining Month is your chance! Enjoy fine dining and a fascinating view into the world of sharks at Sharks Underwater Grill.

Note: Park admission is not required to experience Magical Dining Month at Sharks Underwater Grill. Click here for more details on how to set up your reservation.

Vegetarian

Vegetarians rejoice! Magical Dining Month has plenty of dining options for those who want to go out with the gang but still stick to their plant based diet. Family owned Ciao Italia Ristorante Italiano offers a vegetarian Rigatoni alla Siciliana entrée on their Magical Dining menu. This rigatoni pasta dish is served with eggplant, sundried tomatoes and Bufala mozzarella in a light tomato sauce. Inspired by the freshest ingredients, Cuba Libre serves up a Grilled Vegetable Paella. Not to be outdone, Tapa Toro encourages their non-meat eating guests to request a vegetarian entrée.

Cuba Libre’s vibrant and colorful Grilled Vegetable Paella looks delightful!

Can’t decide which restaurant to visit? You have plenty of time to try a few! Magical Dining Month continues from now until October 12th. Don’t miss this opportunity to sample some of our finest restaurants on International Drive.
