I-Ride Trolley: Exclusive I-Drive Transportation

Thursday, June 11, 2020
You know how they say you never know how much you miss something until it’s gone… After a short pause to the I-Ride Trolley services as our local government monitored and took great precaution to prevent the spread of COVID-19, we understand that saying more than ever!

But, with various new safety procedures being put into place, the I-Ride Trolleys are officially rolling down the streets of International Drive again, and we couldn’t be happier!

Charming & Convenient

The I-Ride Trolley is an exclusive way for everyone on I-Drive to travel to their favorite spots in style! 17 Trolleys service the 100 stops that have been strategically placed along International Drive to get you to where you need to be, easily and comfortably.

How to Ride

New to using the I-Ride Trolley?

The Red Line Trolley route Services both North and South bound I-Drive, arriving at each stop approximately every 20 minutes. Marked by red squares with yellow numbers, each stop is easy to spot. Stops for the Red Line begin at the North end of I-Drive at Orlando Premium Outlets, and travel that majority of International to SeaWorld, all the way to the furthest South point on I-Drive, the Orlando Premium Outlets - Vineland Ave.

The Green Line Trolley route is the counterpart to the Red Line, with service beginning in the Major Boulevard area, Hampton Inn, and traveling along Universal Boulevard, the Green Line then shadows the Red Line Trolley route on South International Drive. Green Line Southbound stops are marked with green circles and yellow numbers, and North bound with yellow circles and green numbers. A Trolley stops at each Green Line stop approximately every 30 minutes.

If you need to transfer from one line to the other, you can easily transfer at any of the designated transfer stops represented on the Trolley Route Map as stars. (Get access to a full trolley map here.)

See this video for a more in depth explanation on how to ride the I-Ride Trolley.

Safety Precautions

But, while we’re talking about our favorite way to travel up and down the miles of fun that make up International Drive, we would be remiss not to tell you all about the new safety precautions that we’ve put in place to ensure not only a charming and fun ride, but a safe one too! We’re committed to keeping you and our dedicated trolley drivers safe.

On Board the Trolley

Cleanliness has always been a top priority of the I-Ride Trolley services, including extensive deep cleaning each night, and frequently sanitizing hand rails and other locations that are frequently touched by riders.

New protocols that we’ve established include, operating at a 50% capacity to ensure that each guest can comfortably social distance while aboard, requiring drivers to use a face mask, as well as installing partition walls that have been put up around the driver for their protection and yours. Each driver will have their temperature checked daily, and will be trained on all of the new safety protocols to ensure they’re being upheld at all times.

For our guests, some new additions to our safety precautions include encouraging each rider to wear face protection while aboard, asking that you bring exact change for your fare to limit contact, and as always, no food or beverages are allowed aboard the trolley. For your convenience, we’ve also added hand sanitizer that you can use when boarding and departing from the I-Ride Trolley.

Please visit IRideTrolley.com for further details about these new safety protocols, and don’t hesitate to reach out to us with any questions. We are all in this together, and are happy to answer any questions you may have.

We’ve put these new protocols in place to protect both our drivers and our guests, and we count on you to do your part, as we continue to do ours.

With many locations on I-Drive now reopening, we are excited to take you to your next I-Drive destination! Happy travels, we’ll see you soon.
