ORLANDO, October 14, 2020 - International Drive restaurants Café Tu Tu Tango and Mia's Italian Kitchen, operated by Alexandria Restaurant Partners, showed their support to hospitality employees affected by the pandemic with a weekly food distribution program. Through the Tango Cares program, affected employees sign up online to receive a free family meal, serving up to four people.

 

The meals were cooked directly in these restaurants, and included a pasta entrée, salad, and dessert. The sign-up page online showed the scheduled pick-up dates and times that the employees could select and reserve.  Since the initiative began in June 2020, 150 free four-serving family meals have been distributed every Wednesday and Thursday each week.

 

A GoFundMe campaign is running to sustain their efforts in providing more meals for those in need.
