Not only is the International Drive Resort Area Orlando's world-famous tourism corridor, it is also home to the Rosen College of Hospitality Management. With its opening in January 2004, the college is part of the University of Central Florida and sits adjacent to Rosen Shingle Creek, a luxurious resort with its own acclaimed championship golf course at Shingle Creek Golf Club. Located in the world’s largest learning laboratory for hospitality and tourism, students at the college benefit from studying in a city that hosts 42 million visitors each year, and has 120,000 hotel rooms, 4,000 restaurants, and 75 theme parks and attractions. Students come from all over the world to study with internationally recognized tourism professionals at a school setting new standards in hospitality management.
Accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Programs in Hospitality Administration, the college provides a comprehensive educational experience that prepares students for the management opportunities of today and the industry challenges of tomorrow by offering a Bachelor of Science in: Hospitality Management, Event Management, and Restaurant & Food Service Management. This state-of-the-art facility is home to the nation's second-largest college of hospitality.
